What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this. Given wonderful knowledge and history about the alpaca, plus meeting and feeding them! It truly was such a special treat for 2 oldies plus a youngster. We’ll be going back for more feeding and hugs with these gorgeous animals. Plus purchasing some more delicious sausages. ❤️❤️❤️

What an absolutely wonderful afternoon we had with my sister Dawn and two of my granddaughters. Amanda and Nick were so welcoming to us. It was such a fun but also educational afternoon and we all really enjoyed learning the facts about the alpacas and the girls then enjoyed the quiz and word search with their hot chocolate and spooky Mocktail.
Esmai was a little nervous around the alpacas at first but she soon settled and then love stroking and feeding them. We will definitely be back x

The alpacas couldn't be happier and better looked after.
Me and my partner had the most amazing time at y fferm fach. Amanda was very warm and welcoming, we first learnt about the history of alpacas and we got the opportunity to ask questions. We were then led into the field with food bowls for the adorable pack. Feeding them was a great chance for Amanda to tell you about their quirky personality traits and you get to see there silly faces up close.
We then got a chance to cwtch some of the alpacas. We both couldn't believe how soft they are! Pip especially! We were also lucky enough to be there when the baby's are sill a couple months old
We got to see around the farm and see some saddle back pigs !
We then went to feed the alpacas some carrots and some more cuddles. I have a new best friend in Anabelle the alpaca.
If you are looking to have a fabulous afternoon go to y fferm fach !!

Spent a super calm few hours with the alpacas on a gorgeous day within the countryside a few minutes outside Pontardulais. A hidden gem! On arrival, we were treated with a smile and led to the seating area where we learned all about the herd and history around alpacas.
We then went into the field with feeding buckets, to which we were immediately treated by all of the alpacas, including the gorgeous babies! 😍 after a while of feeding the herd, then went about their business, and we sat on bean bags in their presence. It was so nice and natural not to make them do things they didn't want to. A few fancied a scratch and stroke, including Aladdin the baby.
By far my favourite alpaca. Such a cheeky chappy! After a while, we were taken to see the saddleback pigs rhubarb and custard who were super cute. It was carrot time for the alpacas where we were given the feeding buckets full of them. We sat on the seating area talking surrounded and again not forcing them to stay but just happy in our presence.
Next up was our own food where we had a picnic. At no point did any of the alpacas attempt to take any of the picnic and stayed back and let us eat. Aladdin and the other babies had zoomies and played either side of the fence while we ate, and this was a joy to watch.
Our experience was drawing to a close so we popped into the gift shop and bought a small gift.
We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Absolutely loved our time and would do it over again. Value for money was incredible.
If you are reading this thinking about booking, just do it as you will not be disappointed.
Thank you Y Fferm Fach.
See you soon!!!!

Amanda the owner was so warm & welcoming, she gave us the history & facts about the Alpacas before meeting & feeding them which was fascinating. Being up close in their private space was magical & their calm energy was contagious, I found the whole experience so therapeutic. I’d highly recommend a visit with or without children, I look forward to returning.

What a beautiful gem this little farm is! We had the most wonderful afternoon to celebrate Father’s Day. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. Amanda was so informative with all things Alpaca!. The Alpaca experience itself felt so relaxed and personal with it just being the 5 of us. We were able to feed the Alpacas and even smooth them and learnt so many facts about them. Every single floof stole our hearts but we must give a little recognition to Annabelle who our 8 year old wild child made a lovely bond with and she even managed to get him to sit still to smooth her and even a little cuddle. My two children (10) & (8) loved the quiz that Amanda had put together and it meant us adults got to have a little chill looking out at the scenic views winning!!. Meeting Rhubarb & Crumble was also a highlight!. This little farm is such an escape from the hustle and bustle but still had everything you needed such as toilet, refreshments and even a little gift shop with gorgeous Alpaca themed pieces. Thank you so much Amanda & Nick for having us at the farm today we all had the best time and already planning to return to visit the new additions once they are born!. We wish you the best of luck with your venture. Would highly recommend booking this unique experience to make those special memories.

Attended with my two children for my daughter’s birthday. Amanda was very welcoming & knowledgeable.
My children & I enjoyed learning about the alpaca’s, interacting with them, and feeding them. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience & the weather stayed dry which was a bonus.
My children enjoyed drinking their hot chocolate out in the fresh air with the alpacas.
The experience was made even better with their very own alpaca soft toy’s to bring home & cwtch with.

I recently took my family for the alpaca experience. Amanda (the owner) was very welcoming, and gave a lovely talk about the care of alpacas and how she and her husband came to start the business. Health and safety was also covered in the talk. We then had the pleasure of meeting the herd in close quarters. It was wonderful to spend time with them, being able to feed them and pet them, seeing their different characters. After a good time spent feeding and petting the alpacas, we eventually went back into the chalet for hot chocolate and coffee to warm up by the log burner. Y Fferm Fach is set in a stunning location that is easy to find. I can highly recommend this new and stunning experience. We will definitely be returning.

Wow just wow! My daughter was turning 10 and didn't want a party, so I was looking for something different, for her and her best friend to celebrate. This was perfect!
I messaged Amanda and she got back to me straight away and was so helpful. So I booked.
The moment we arrived we were greeted by a smiling friendly face - Amanda.
She was amazing with the girls, explained everything, she had so much knowledge and listened to the girls and answered all there questions.
When the girls were comfortable, Amanda brought up three Alpacas and the girls got to feed them, there face was a picture full of smiles. Then when Amanda brought them all up, wow! Was lovely to see them up close, and you could see how much Amanda loved these animals and the passion she has.
There was no rush to leave, it was very relaxed, Amanda even sat with girls, in front of the fire while they enjoyed their hot chocolates.
You have got some amazing ideas, and can't wait to see them come alive, you have got yourselves some regulars, we will be back very soon! Thank you so much, you have made two girls very happy! (And me!)

We had the pleasure of visiting Y Fferm Fach at the weekend. We were greeted by Amanda and Nick who were the perfect hosts, explaining in detail what goes into caring for the Alpacas whilst enjoying the beautiful countryside scenery.
A definite highlight was feeding the Alpacas being up close and personal.
We would definitely recommend the experience to friends and family in the future and we look forward to visiting again in the Spring.
